At Berkshirelegwear (accessible via https://berkshirelegwear.com), this policy explains how to cancel an order or change it after it has been placed: the window you have, what can be changed, and what we do once a parcel is already on its way.

Ordering pants online means choosing a size and a color from a screen, and second thoughts happen: a different inseam would suit the shoes better, or the navy would have been the safer choice. We keep the change window open long enough for that.

Cancellations and Changes at a Glance

Canceling Within 24 Hours

Email us within 24 hours of placing the order with the order number and the word cancel. No reason is needed. We stop the order, confirm by email, and refund the full amount you paid, including the $4.95 shipping, to your original payment method.

Changing an Order Within 24 Hours

In the same 24-hour window you can change the shipping address, the size, the color, the quantity, or swap one item for another. Email us with the order number and the change you want. If the new item costs more, we send a secure payment link for the difference; if it costs less, the difference is refunded. Nothing changes until you have confirmed the new total.

After 24 Hours

If it has not left the shop, we will still cancel it. Processing takes 1 to 3 business days, so there is usually room. Write to us as soon as you can and we check the parcel's status the moment your email arrives.

After the Parcel Has Left

Once a parcel is with the carrier it cannot be recalled, but you still have two easy options. Refuse the delivery when the carrier arrives and it comes straight back to us, or accept it and email us for a prepaid return label, which we send within 1 business day. Either way the order is refunded in full, including the original shipping, once the unopened parcel reaches us. An opened parcel is handled under our Return & Refund Policy instead.

Orders We Cannot Cancel

A few situations fall outside this policy:

• Final sale items once processing has begun.
• Orders that have already been assigned a tracking number.
• Special order items once the supplier order has been placed.

If your situation falls just outside one of these, write to us anyway.

Address Corrections

A wrong apartment number or an old street address is the most common change we see. Email the corrected address with your order number and we update it as long as the parcel has not left. If it has, write to us anyway and we contact the carrier on your behalf to redirect it where the carrier allows.

Cancellations We Initiate

Occasionally we have to cancel an order ourselves: a pair that turns out to be out of stock when we pull it, an obvious pricing error, or a payment the gateway cannot verify. When that happens we email you first, explain why, and refund the full amount you paid before the day is out.
